Prenatal Care

Village Family Health Team (VFHT) patients can have their entire pregnancy care right here! Low risk patients can have prenatal care with Dr. Shawna Irons or Dr. Rachna Chari, two of the VFHT doctors. Deliveries are at St Joseph’s Health Center with St. Joe’s Toronto Primary Care Obstetrics team. Mother and newborn baby are then able to see their own doctor within a few days of birth. Pregnant patients can also choose to have their pregnancy and delivery managed by an obstetrician or midwife and will be referred as per patient’s request.

Toronto Public Health Flu Clinics

The flu vaccine is free for people six months of age and older who live, work or attend school in Ontario. A health card is not required at a TPH clinic. Flu clinic appointments can be booked online here  . Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, walk-in appointments will not be available this year.
