Dr. Alison Charlebois : On parental leave; Locum is accepting trans and non-binary patients.
I am delighted to be part of the Village Family Health Team. Originally from small town Ontario, I completed my B.A. at McGill University, studied medicine at McMaster University and did my residency in Family Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I have special interests in providing healthcare for members of LGBT2SQ communities, marginalized youth, and newcomers. I offer transition-related care to trans and gender-diverse individuals as part of comprehensive primary care.
I am a big believer in preventive care and I strive to make healthcare accessible to everyone. I enjoy teaching medical students and I really appreciate my patients contributing to medical education by working with students from time to time.
I look forward to getting to know you and working with you to achieve your health goals.
